'Accounting For Charities Trust' is a Charitable Trust providing subsidised, affordable financial education and training to Not-For-Profit and charitable organisations.
The Trust was formed after identifying a skill gap in financial literacy of many employees in the Not-For-Profit sector which is preventing many of those organisations from achieving their full potential. Many organisations also don't have the resources to upskill their staff, and end up with costly accounting issues and problems with fundraising.
Accounting for Charities Trust is able to provide a subsidised, affordable mentoring/training service because we have the support of funders who believe in the benefits of our services to the community.
Vision: "Provide affordable, quality financial education and training to volunteers and employees for the benefit of the Not-For-profit sector".
Benefits: The benefits of upskilling employees in the Not-for-Profit sector are huge – improving performance; improving likelihood of additional fundraising; and reducing costly errors. The benefits are not just to those organisations, but to the whole society in terms of integrity and public perception.
