Accounting for Charities Trust will provide mobile mentoring/training services at a subsidised and affordable rate and these services include:-

  • Workshops - 'Financial Training For Not For Profits' and 'Governance for Community Groups'. We have run these popular workshops for community organisations for Hutt City Council, Porirua City Council, Volunteer Porirua, Kapiti Coast District Council, Volunteer Kapiti, Upper Hutt City Council, Horowhenua City Council, and Masterton Safe and Healthy Community Council.
  • Customised one-on-one financial training to meet the needs of an organisation.
  • Review and training of your accounting systems – we can review your systems on-site and provide ongoing training and support to increase your accuracy and compliance.
  • MYOB or Xero accounting software training and support.
  • Conversion from manual accounting systems to computerised accounting systems.
  • Setting up legal entities – charitable trusts/incorporated societies.
  • Assistance with annual returns.
  • Internal audit – take a business health check - we can audit your systems and procedures and provide feedback for improvement.
  • Fundraising assistance and liaison with funding providors.
  • Business plans/strategic plans – assist your business or Not-For-Profit organisation in developing plans and planning for success.
  • Provide governance advice to Boards and Trustees. We have developed a WOF self evaluation checklist for committees/Boards.
