"We are pleased to be able to recommend the work of the Accounting for Charities Trust carried out by Mentor/trainer Mark Vallance. I met Mark at a training day/workshop organised by the Upper Hutt Council and found him excellent with the material presented relevant and helpful.

I then contacted Mark to discuss the issues we were having with our financial accounting at Alzheimers Wellington and as a result we contracted him to install a new package Xero and train us in its use. This has been an outstanding success. We find the package easy to use and Mark’s instructions helpful. He has an excellent manner and our administrator, who was not fully confident with financial packages, loves the new programme and speaks highly of Mark’s patience and skills as a trainer.

I would like to think that more not for profit organisations could benefit from the work of the Trust. Mark’s fees are very low for voluntary organisations and the package Xero is also cheap to run and very easy to use. By funding the Trust you are really helping the not for profit sector in general. It is so important that the sector gets its finances right and is able to afford to contract someone of Mark’s ability".
